Terms of Service
The rules that govern your use of the Pacific site and servers.
Last updated: April 2026
Article 1 — Purpose
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Pacific website ("the Site") and associated services, including the Rust game server, the ticket system, and player profile features.
By accessing the Site, you unconditionally accept these Terms. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Site.
Article 2 — Access to the service
Access to the Site is free. Some features require authentication via Steam (OpenID) and/or linking a Discord account. Access to the game server is subject to compliance with the server rules.
Pacific reserves the right to suspend or revoke any user's access without notice in case of violation of these Terms or the server rules.
Article 3 — User responsibility
The user agrees to:
- Not use the Site or server for illegal purposes or in violation of these Terms.
- Not attempt to circumvent the server's security or anti-cheat systems.
- Not harass, insult or threaten other players or staff members.
- Provide accurate information when creating a support ticket.
- Respect the server rules as published on the Site.
Article 4 — Ticket system
The ticket system allows players to contact the staff to report an issue, contest a sanction or ask a question. Tickets are handled by volunteers within 48 hours. Pacific does not guarantee a fixed response time.
Any abuse of the ticket system (false reports, spamming, insults) may result in a sanction on the server.
Article 5 — Sanctions and bans
Bans applied on the server are public and displayed on the Bans page for transparency. Staff decisions are final; all appeals must be submitted via the ticket system.
Pacific reserves the right to modify, cancel or reduce any sanction at its discretion.
Article 6 — Intellectual property
The name "Pacific", the logo and all Site content (text, graphics, code) are the property of their respective authors. Any reproduction without authorisation is prohibited. The game Rust is the property of Facepunch Studios.
Article 7 — Limitation of liability
Pacific is a community project run by volunteers. The Site and server are provided "as is", without guarantee of continuous availability. Pacific cannot be held liable for data loss, service interruptions or any damage resulting from use of the Site or server.
Article 8 — Changes to these Terms
Pacific reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the Site. It is the user's responsibility to check the Terms regularly.
Article 9 — Contact
For any questions regarding these Terms, you can contact the team via the ticket system or on our Discord server.
